Lighting design was a critical component to an extensive architectural renovation of Oklahoma City's Penn Square Mall. The goal was to visually enliven the Center's rather somber nighttime look and provide crisp rendering of the Food Court's new feature elements, including a unique serpentine metal and glass wall.

Architectural feature chandeliers were custom designed for the principal public concourses, drawing inspiration from Native American cultural motifs. Architectural light coves were upgraded to energy efficient technologies while badly needed ambient and accent lighting was accomplished with high color rendering metal halide equipment.

The Food Court art and graphics are dramatically presented with light welcoming visitors to the mall's social hub. Metal and glass elements are made especially stunning with tightly controlled accent lighting and focused color. A previously mundane dining experience has become a place worth the visit at Penn Square Mall.
