The demand for sustainable design in the built environment has never been greater, and lighting is in the forefront of this movement. With in–house LEED Accredited Professional credentials, the firm strives to be on the leading edge of environmentally sensitive lighting application.

Ron Kurtz, Senior Designer for the firm, is a member of the ASHRAE Standard 90 Committee, which is in the vanguard for establishing direction in energy codes throughout North America. Randy Burkett is Chair of the IALD Metric of Quality Committee which, on behalf of the Association’s world–wide membership, is helping to establish guidelines to ensure that qualitative aspects of lighting design are taken into account as a part of energy code and legislation development.
