Design Visualization	The thorough consideration of a lighting design concept can prove difficult, depending on the complexity of the challenge and its proposed solution. Randy Burkett Lighting Design employs a variety of techniques in lighting design formulation to assist in this assessment, from simple sketch–style renderings to in–depth computer–based calculations and visualizations. These tools are available to the client and design team to help in fully realizing the goals for the project.

		Artistic renderings, grounded in expert knowledge of lighting equipment performance, can provide excellent visualizations for both study and presentations.

		Photorealistic renderings can be generated using actual luminaire photometry, permitting careful examination of contrasts and intensity. Illuminance levels are calculated to ensure fulfillment of design intent and functional need.

		Presentation materials can be tailored to the specific needs of a project. Collaboration with other design team members to integrate lighting oncept illustrations into an overall presentation effort, is frequently done.
